Kuma Romania is a Romanian-Danish company, launched on the local market in 1998. The company opened the first production line at Campina, in 1998, while in 2006 to move at Banesti, after it ended the first greenfield investment, worth over 2 million euros.

When entering the local market, Kuma Romania had a turnover of 50,000 dollars, amounting 2,8 million euros (3,8 million dollars) in 2011.

The main projects in which Kuma was involved are hotel chains of 4 and 5 stars (Continental, Ibis, Ramada, Golden Tulip), malls (Baneasa Shopping Center, Sun Plaza), residential and office buildings (Willbroke, Glass House, Uppground Town), stadiums (CFR Cluj, Arena Nationala), the new terminal in Otopeni Airport etc.
